I read about the use of Bio-Electricity compared to liquid Bio-fuels. Replacing coal-fired electricity with bio-electricity will lower GHG emissions, but bio-electricity produces higher GHG emissions than wind energy. Accounting for this, I dont suppose anyone thinks that it could be a viable option to stop supplementing coal-fired electricity with wind energy and therefore replace our electricity supplies with just bio-electricity. This is the only way bio-electricity could be a cleaner energy source from what i read. Ooor do we not have the global instinct to make such drastic efforts?
